Travel the eight mountain passes in our area:
Naudes Nek Mountain Pass: Highest Mountain pass in the Republic of South-Africa.
Spectacular scenery road not recommended for low-clearance vehicles. Dangerous when wet, approximately 70km from Maclear to the top of the pass. Allow 2 hours for traveling.
The other passes: Pitseng Pass, Langeni Pass, Pot river pass, tswenka pass, Barkly Pass, Otto Du Plessies Pass & Bastervoetpad (4×4 only).
Fly-fishing: Fish for wild trout. The fish propagate naturally in our rivers, and abound in the pure mountain water. Still-water fishing on more than 10 stocked dams also available. If you are new in the area it is essential to obtain the services of a guide. Contact Theuns
